The ONESTOP Hand Surgery™ Process

GET IN TOUCH

If you think you are suffering with one of the four conditions above, get in touch to arrange a FREE VIDEO CONSULTATION. 01254 403403 OR info@lancashirehandclinic.co.uk

VIDEO CONSULTATION

A VIDEO CONSULTATION will be arranged at your convenience. During this consultation Mr Younis will determine whether you are suitable for ONESTOP Hand Surgery™.

PRE-OPERATIVE ASSESSMENT

If you wish to go ahead, you will be offered a date for your procedure. You will need to complete a pre-operative assessment and in most cases this can be done over the phone.

ASSESSMENT & SURGERY

Mr Younis will assess you and perform your operation on the same day. The operation will be done by numbing you hand/wrist (local anaesthesia).

FOLLOW UP

6 weeks following your operation you will get either a telephone or video consultation (dependent on your preference) with Mr Younis.

CONDITIONS SUITABLE FOR ONESTOP Hand Surgery™

carpal tunnel syndrome

This is a condition resulting from the median nerve becoming trapped at the wrist. This nerve is responsible for supplying feeling to the thumb, index, middle fingers and part or all of the ring finger.

TRIGGER FINGER/THUMB

This condition results in pain at the base of the finger or thumb with either clicking or locking of the digit in a bent position.

GANGLION

This is a benign lump that generally appears at the back of the wrist. It can however also present on the palm side of the wrist or any part of the fingers (see section on mucous cyst).

DUPUYTREN’S CONTRACTURE

Dupuytren’s disease is the thickening, with subsequent shortening of the layer under the skin called the fascia.
