Lancashire Hand Clinic is the name of Mr Fizan Younis’ private practice. The practice is based at the Beardwood Hospital in Blackburn, Fulwood Hall Hospital in Preston and the Spire Fylde Coast Hospital in Blackpool.
Mr Younis is a European Board Certified Hand surgeon treating exclusively Hand, Wrist and Elbow conditions. This website has been developed for the benefit of our patients. 2. VIDEO CONSULTATION
A FREE VIDEO CONSULTATION will be arranged at your convenience. During this consultation Mr Younis will determine whether you are suitable for ONESTOP Hand Surgery.
3. PRE-OPERATIVE ASSESSMENT
If you wish to go ahead, you will be offered a date for your procedure. You will need to complete a pre-operative assessment and in most cases this can be done over the phone.
4. COVID-19 TEST
A Covid-19 test prior to surgery is no longer routinely required.
5. ASSESSMENT & SURGERY UNDER LOCAL ANAESTHESIA
Mr Younis will assess you and perform your operation on the same day. The operation will be done by numbing you hand/wrist (local anaesthesia).
6. FOLLOW UP
6 weeks following your operation you will get either a telephone or video consultation (dependent on your preference) with Mr Younis.
